Here's a few informations on this one.
1970 appears on "Fun House" record. Some may say it's the best rock record ever. Anyhow it's an incredibly explosive one, so if you want a massive piece of punk rock, put it loud (I said LOUD) and let your neighbors shout.
What amazed me at first is a tenor sax playing on last tracks, appearing on 1970. Then I discovered that The Stooges, and in particular Iggy Pop, were inspired by free jazz artists, such as Roland Kirk, Sun Ra, John Coltrane, Eric Dolphy and many others.
So I thought it would be funny to design a quiet, abstract, jazz covers inspired Type Song about this punk rock band. And it was.

Tiens, la pochette "Louis Armstrong's hot 5" sur ton lien fait drôlement penser à celle de l'album "Préliminaires" d'Iggy Pop...
